Computer Facilities

Can I Use the Library Computers if I Have No Personal Account?
  • Yes. All computer workstations inside the Library are ready for use, and do not require an account. Identification is required only when accessing licensed electronic resources.

Where Are the Printers?
  • There is one multifunction printer near the Loan Desk. It is connected by default to all the workstations. The Library does not charge for a fair use of the facility, which, however, must be related to research and respect the copyright regulations.

May I Use Library Computer Facilities for Private Purposes?
  • No. Workstations and printers may only be used to perform bibliographical or related searches; for any other purpose, such as emailing and word processing, you should use public computers in other areas.

Is There Wireless Connection in the Library?
  • Wireless network connection is available inside the Library premises. To access the network, the portable devices should be configured by the Information & Communication Technology Section (see: Use the wireless connection).
