The Marie Curie Library's purpose is to offer essential high quality services and provide information support to ICTP researchers, visitors and participants in the activities organized by the Centre, in line with the ICTP mission. Moreover, it runs programmes aimed at the dissemination of knowledge in least developed countries.
The Marie Curie Library (Leonardo Building, first floor) is open to scientists, students and staff at ICTP, at the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World (TWAS), at the Department of Physics, University of Trieste (local branch, formerly DFT) and at the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA). During weekends, access is restricted to members and visitors of these institutions.
External visitors interested in using the Library, researchers from other scientific institutions or university students may apply for access during weekdays by contacting the Librarian at the Information Desk.
Reference assistance is available in person or by phone during opening hours. The Library offers computer terminals, institutional wi-fi, facilities for printing, copying and scanning bibliographic material, document-delivery service.
